Intermediate Posting of Lameness

Why haven’t I published a podcast in weeks?  Why am I such a bad podcaster?  I have recorded #24…it’s been recorded for weeks now, but I haven’t completed editing and putting up a post for it.  Why not?  I will list the reasons thusly:

1. My garden – vegetable and flower – is going insano.  It needs weeding, watering, and attention.

2. My Flora – also insano – but in a crawlsofastintothedogfoodandwater kind of way that has me so tired at the end of the day.

3. My growing – I’m pregnant again!  Due in January! As I’m in the first trimester, I’m sleeping all the time and nauseous when I’m not sleeping.

So in conclusion, I am letting down fans, family and myself, but I have to ignore it all, and grow a second little bean.  Believe it or not, I am editing a minute or two of #24 every day, and I even have material for #25 (pictures and everything) and interviews lined up…..But.  This baby insists on sucking the life out of me.  I couldn’t be happier. 🙂

    Hey Jennifer,
I’m so happy for You, congratulations! I’ve been checking the website for a newer podcast and was kind of sad not see the new one yet. Hope You’ll finish editing it soon so you can post it 🙂 I love Your blog pictures, You’re a good photographer 🙂 Please keep podcasting, it’s so much fun to listen to when you have to do dishes and have no dishwasher. (Btw. I heard about Your podcast from Annie Smith’s quilting stash) Good luck with Your pregnancy!

I think we all miss you but understand. What a wonderful time of your life. Do not put more stress on your self. Flora and the new baby are the most important. I will wait patiently for your next podcast, I do enjoy what you have to say. By the way congratulations.

Congratulations! That’s a great reason for a hiatus from podcasting and your fans will wait for you. I have two little ones (ages 4 & 2) and it can be exhausting. You have to take care of yourself and your babies. Best wishes and I can’t wait to hear your current podcasts and future podcasts when you feel up to it and have time.

very happy for you. as my baby turns 34 in 2 days I can say I still remember how draining the first few months of pregnancy can be. Do what you can when you can.

that editing is the time consuming part, could we try just non edited and let you know if it is a problem..just a though….if that won’t work then we have to wait..

Wow, congratulations Jennifer. I’ve missed hearing your casts, but now I know that you’re forgiven ;-p Enjoy Miss Flora and I look forward to your energy returning (hmmm, as a mother of two, I think that’s probably just a dream lol!) and you finding your seat at the microphone.
