On hold until further notice

I hate to admit defeat, but these kids take a lot of work.  I didn’t know that an extra kid is exponentially harder.  So for now I’m giving up my podcast, my blog, my quilting, etc. etc.

Hope you are enjoying quilting – I’m jealous!

You know, I clicked on your site just yesterday, wondering if I’d missed something. Figured you were too busy with two little ones. I’m sorry to see you stop, but they do come first and you are so blessed to have them. But give up everything, totally? Hope you are able at least to get in a little quilting from time to time. God bless you & yours!

You will be missed, but it’s totally understandable. Kids…they take up loads of time, but enjoy them, the years will fly by 🙂

Hope to have to back in podcast land some day – but in the meantime, take care of your family first. Thanks and know that we’ll miss you.

I will miss your podcasts, but I went through the same thing when my kids were little. There wasn’t enough time in the day to get everything done. Now that I have teenagers, there is more time for quilting, reading, etc. Enjoy you babies! You will be back to quilting before you know it.

    Jennifer,
I admit I miss your podcast. You are hilarious and I can relate, but I also know how hard it is to have little ones who need you. I quit sewing and quilting for myself. I sew some for my daughter. Take the time you need. Enjoy your kids, they will grow up so fast! When they are older your sewing machine and microphone will be waiting for you. Chin up girl! Kerstin

Your kids need your time right now. I just want to thank you for the podcasts you were able to do. It was my favorite. We will miss you. Enjoy those kids.

    Hi Jennifer,

I know how you feel, but I also know that you will be back to quilting and everything else when the time is right. I’ve taken breaks from quilting and other “hobbies”, but always come back when time is available.

I really enjoyed your podcasts and appreciated your sharing them with us and will miss you, but….

For now, enjoy those little cuties! ( My babies are 25 and 29. )

Besides it will give me time to catch up on the ones I’m behind on. still haven;t worked on the ying & yang project I received from you but it’s on the list of things to do! LOL 🙂

Was just listening to one of your older podcasts and wanted to say hi and hang in there. Hope you have a chance to get back to some quilting and the social media later. Take care.

Jennifer, As someone who was in your shoes (and back in them for a short time), I give you a big hug. Kids are precious, but are truly time consuming. I’m getting a refresher right now as my daughter is visiting with her 2 young daughters. I haven’t been able to just submerge myself in sewing, but the time spent with them has been amazing. I’ll be waiting patiently to hear your return and know that when you do it will be with lots of new experiences to share.
